1. Vaj Plant Seedlings
After selecting diploid plant samples of the Vaj plant, using tissue culture techniques in the laboratory and various growth-promoting treatments, plantlets were produced. After two stages of cultivation in the experimental field and the production of well-established rhizomes with young shoots, these plantlets were used as parent plants for large-scale production, totaling 200,000 plantlets. In Tir 1402 (July 2023), the company obtained a license for the production of Vaj plant seedlings and its medicinal products from the Seed and Seedling Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture. Currently, Exire Hyrcany Mahan Knowledge Base Company is the sole producer of Vaj plant seedlings in Iran.

Daneshbonyan Exir Hyrcani Mahan is the sole producer of Vaj plant medicinal rhizomes in Iran.
